Wesley Jeng
Undergraduate Researcher
About
Wesley Jeng is an undergraduate student at UCLA majoring in Biochemistry. Following graduation, he hopes to get a job in biotechnology to build up his experience before returning to school for a master's or a PhD. Ultimately, he hopes to work on drug development or pharmaceuticals to help people across the globe. He is super grateful for his role in the Vossel Lab helping to recruit patients and assisting with small administrative projects. The experience has shown him a new side of research outside of the lab and working directly with patients. It has been super fulfilling! When he's not in the lab, Wesley can be found working at the front desk of the UCLA Music Library or at his second job at Disneyland in the land of San Fransokyo. When he's not at work you might even see him Lion Dancing around campus or researching Tight Junctions with Dr. Petrovic.
